Yellow Bus · Praça dos Restauradores
An open-top yellow double-decker loops from Praça dos Restauradores out to Belém and back, with audio commentary in 12 languages and a stop at Belém Tower. The real reason to buy it hides in the inclusions: 24 hours on Lisbon's Carris trams, tram 15E to Belém among them.

The Yellow Bus Belém line leaves Praça dos Restauradores and climbs Avenida da Liberdade to Marquês de Pombal, past Eduardo VII Park, Amoreiras and the Estrela Basilica, down to the Pilar 7 bridge experience, then through Belém: the Coach Museum, Jerónimos, Belém Tower, the Padrão and MAAT, before heading back via Alcântara. Get off at any stop and catch a later bus within 24 hours. Monument tickets are not included; at the tower it's a stop, nothing more.
Why 3.0 from 486 reviews? The real reviews tell a consistent story. Guests report waits of an hour or more at stops while rival red buses went by, headphone sockets that didn't work so they heard no commentary, stops that are hard to find from the cruise terminal, and the surprise that the ticket covers this one line, not Yellow Bus's other routes. One April 2026 group found no buses until 2 pm on marathon day.
What it does well is the trams. The ticket includes Carris trams for its 24 hours, and a single on-board fare on tram 15E to Belém is EUR 3.30, so a return trip alone covers a good slice of the price. Ride one loop for the commentary, then use the 15E to get around. If you'd rather not depend on a timetable at all, the private tuk-tuk keeps a guide with you.

★★★★★The tour covers all the highlights of Lisbon. Recommend taking the time to see the whole route then choose where you want to truly explore. We were able to see all that we wanted and meet friends at a great waterfront restaurant. Easy to access by the metro. It even includes Tram tickets.
★★★★★Great route around Lisbon. Bus was on time at the stops and lots of information given when listening to audio.
★★★★★We only had one day to see the city. We did the hop on hop off with the audio commentary. Saw all of the top cites and was even able to explore a little. Highly recommended.
